Four Seasons Resort Los Cabos At Costa Palmas

“Because there’s nothing more beautiful than the way the ocean refuses to stop kissing the shoreline, no matter how many times it’s sent away” – Sarah Kay

When I have the urge to visit a private and tropical beach, my wife immediately stops me in my tracks and says: “I’m not flying across the globe for a week.” So, I had to find a destination that passed my wife’s test. In this case, I had the pleasure of discovering that a resort had recently opened just a couple hours’ flight from me: the dazzling Four Seasons Resort Los Cabos at Costa Palmas.

Getting There

I’ve been to some of the most breathtaking beach resorts in the world, but many are quite a distance by air. The Four Seasons Los Cabos is located about three hours from Phoenix (about a two hour flight and then an hour drive north from the airport) – incredibly close considering the caliber of beach and resort that you experience.

Here is a map of the location of the resort:

Accommodations

We enjoyed an oceanfront suite with splash pool. The cover image to this article is provided courtesy of the Four Seasons Los Cabos and perfectly captures our suite – light, airy, plush, and oh by the way – with a private splash pool on a private beach!!!

The Beach!

As you can see, the suite opens out to a wide expanse of sun and sand; and it’s candidly, quite breathtaking. I’ve experienced some of the most stunning resorts in the world, and this open stretch of pristine oceanfront is simply magnificent. While the property has quite a bit to offer, there’s no need to leave this suite other than to walk the beach. It’s just incredible. We spent hours walking and running on the beach, deeply inhaling the sea air and dipping our feet in the warm waves of ocean water. Pure bliss.

Scenes from the Property

The Four Seasons Los Cabos is vast, and impressively laid out and positioned along the shore, using a variety of topographies and clean, impressive architectural styles; all combining to create an extraordinary destination; and my goodness, the sunsets. Here is just a sample of the varying views and resort areas:

Spa and Wellness

The Four Seasons Resort Los Cabos At Costa Palmas features one of the most striking and extravagant spas I’ve ever visited (click here for more information); which is quite an achievement. I spent hours in the steam and saunas, soaking in the variety of heated and cool pools, and also simply resting and meditating in the seating areas. The spa offers a wide variety of locally-inspired services, and we thoroughly enjoyed treatments in our suite.

Dining

The Four Seasons Los Cabos features a number of dining options (click here for more information), including signature restaurants Estiatorio Milos, Casa de Brasa, El Puesto, and Limon; in addition to casual dining Ginger’s and in-room dining (which I highly recommend when you have an oceanfront suite).

Closing Thoughts

The Four Seasons Los Cabos, snugly positioned on an untouched section of the Mexican segment of the Baja Peninsula on the Sea of Cortez, grants to you a bespoke beach resort experience, and does so without the need to spend a day’s travel by air.

I urge you to discover the Four Seasons Los Cabos for yourself. Check into your oceanfront suite, slide on your shorts, take a deep breath, and a long look at your views. The beach awaits.
