Most of us lead frenetic lives – phones, emails, meetings, carpools, dance recitals, soccer games, lunches, dinners, family commitments, and all of the other common responsibilities and obligations – which have slowly, at first, filled, and perhaps overtaken our lives. But travel allows us to create quiet and peaceful experiences that nourish our souls, and provide a sense of balance and serenity.
I opened in this way because we recently traveled to Dallas, Texas and visited the Four Seasons Resort and Club Dallas at Las Colinas. My wife and I had been through quite a bit in our personal and business lives in the few months prior to our trip, and we were very much looking forward to decompressing and visiting a lovely resort.
Well, our visit to the Four Seasons Resort and Club Dallas at Las Colinas thoroughly exceeded our expectations, and brought to us a sublime sense of peace and calm. We cannot be more thankful to everyone at the resort, and there is no question that the resort has most certainly earned its reputation as one of the best luxury resorts in Dallas, Texas.
The Entry to the Four Seasons Resort and Club Dallas at Las Colinas is grand, stately and elegant; and you know immediately that you’re entering a high end luxury property. Special thanks to Ben for making us feel extremely welcome and special the entire weekend.
As I’ve mentioned in other posts, most recently in my article about the Four Seasons Hotel Ritz Lisbon, it’s a rare occurrence when a property’s main entry area is so beautiful that I feel compelled to add a dedicated section to my article. Well, the main entry of the Four Seasons Dallas is so resplendent that I absolutely needed to write about it and show my readers those images. It’s really quite something. See for yourself.
The Four Seasons Dallas is a vast and expansive property with a variety of accommodations. In particular, the property is famous for its world-class Las Colinas Golf Course, which is the site of the annual AT&T Byron Nelson golf tournament. Some of the most treasured and luxurious accommodations at the Four Seasons Dallas are the 18th Hole Suites, which we were most fortunate to experience. Our suite overlooked the main pool, and it was spectacular!
As you would expect, the Four Seasons Dallas has some seriously great Pools – a total of four: Resort, Indoor, Family, and Spa Pools, which you can see more by Clicking Here. Our suite overlooked the Resort pool, and it’s simply magnificent, wrapping the interior property and winding under a walking bridge, ending in a luxurious jacuzzi.
This is the lovely Spa Pool, which is accessible both from the main property and the Spa. The pool is the centerpiece of one of the most peaceful and serene Spa Pool settings I’ve experienced. It’s a sublime place to sit, close your eyes, and take a long deep breath. Love this setting.
There are an array of luxurious and highly-regarded Dining Options at the Four Seasons Resort and Spa Dallas at Las Colinas, and you can view those by Clicking Here. We dined both in Bar 19, and in our room and the food was superlative. We dined on our room’s patio overlooking the pool in ideal weather, on Caesar Salad and Fresh Pasta with Chicken and Vegetables, and it was divine.
Well & Being Spa
The Well & Being Spa significantly exceeded my expectations in terms of amenities. As I’ve mentioned in previous articles, when evaluating a Luxury Spa, I look at the Treatment Offerings, scope of services such as Salon, Facials, Nails, etc., and what I refer to as the “Luxury Water Offerings.”
The Well & Being Spa absolutely checks all of those boxes, starting with a superlative – and perhaps the best I’ve ever experienced – Locker Room Luxury Water Offerings. Specifically, the Well & Being Spa features a roomy under-skylight jacuzzi, steam shower, sauna, and a most divine keyhole-shaped cold plunge pool. Feast your eyes.
The Sports Club
Our visit to the Four Seasons Resort and Club Dallas at Las Colinas was supremely special and memorable in large part because the resort features a state of the art Fitness Facility, the Sports Club, which is certainly the most impressive and well-appointed resort fitness offering I’ve ever experienced. It made our stay, and affected us in such a positive way that when we returned home to Scottsdale, we decided to join a local club with similar amenities. In short, it is not exaggeration to say that the Sports Club, set majestically in a luxurious stone structure at the Dallas Four Seasons, changed our lives.
As I mentioned earlier, my wife and I were dealing with both business and personal issues, and this certainly doesn’t make us unique. Life can be challenging at times for all of us, and we do our best to manage those difficulties, and hope that we emerge with more wisdom, strength, and gratitude.
But the reason I mention this is that one of the multitude of reasons that I treasure travel, is that travel – especially travel to new destinations – can spark something special inside of us that grants us the grace and positive outlook to not only navigate those challenging times, but to view those experiences as an opportunity to improve upon our lives, and the lives of those we love.
This trip to the Four Seasons Resort and Club Dallas at Las Colinas granted us the ability to recharge, and to view with grace our challenges, and how fortunate we are to live the lives we enjoy. During our time at the Resort, we simply enjoyed each other’s company in a luxurious setting, and counted our blessings for having the opportunity to enjoy so beautiful a luxury property.
I highly recommend that you take the time to visit the Four Seasons Resort and Club Dallas at Las Colinas so that you can find your own balance and peace in this hectic world. It will change you forever. I promise.

Thanks so very much to Vail, Ben, Jaime, Ivan, Davis, and to everyone at the resort for an unbelievably fantastic visit and stay. I can’t rave enough about the staff and the quality of the experience. We will most certainly be back!
Please take note that I was welcomed as a special media guest of the resort, but that my opinions, as always are entirely my own.
Thank you very much for reading, and happy travels!
