Luxury on The Strip – The Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas

“Las Vegas looks the way you’d imagine heaven must look at night” – Chuck Palahniuk

The Las Vegas Strip – a dramatic upsurge of shimmering glass and steel, bathed in an energetic luminosity – must be experienced with an enthusiastic reverence for the entrepreneurial vigor which powers its vitality. Of course, despite all of these dramatic looking buildings, it must be said that a lot of people travel to The Strip in order to experience the infamous casinos. The Strip is known for its high number of casinos, which attract many tourists every year. Due to how popular they are, it’s usually advised to enter some online casinos, just like 우리카지노, to practice before gambling all of your money away to the professional poker players. Whilst casinos are a big attraction to many people visiting Las Vegas, that’s not the only reason behind its popularity. There is but one property at which to soak in the artistry and grandeur of The Strip – the incomparably luxurious Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas.

A Triple Forbes Five-Star Property

There are luxury hotels, and then there is the Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas, one of only eleven hotels in the world that have earned a Triple Forbes Five-Star Award – Five Stars each for the Mandarin Oriental Hotel, The Spa, and the hotel’s fine dining restaurant Twist By Pierre Gagnaire. Location

The Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas rises high on The Strip, just a few miles north of the airport, and within close proximity of a number of Las Vegas attractions. You will notice the prominent Mandarin Oriental logo fan at the top of the hotel. (Image courtesy of the hotel.)

Entry and Lobby

The Lobby at the Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas demands its own article. Elevator doors slide apart at the hotel’s 23rd floor, revealing a majestic and stirring space; including a stunning piece of wall art, a sleek check-in area, and an expansive sitting area – all framed by immense windows unveiling the city’s vibrant mural.

Here are two images, courtesy of the hotel, first of the sumptuous Sky Lobby, your first impression as you exit the elevators, and below is the Arrival Lobby Lounge:

Interested in a chilled serving of Moet & Chandon Champagne upon check-in? Since you’re in Las Vegas, you’re in luck! Yes, this is the #MoetMoment vending machine with your choice of traditional or rose! Plop your token into the slot, affix the Moet drinking spout, and Cheers!

Water

The superb pool deck at the Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas stretches alongside the property, offering a variety of sunny and shaded locales to suit your tastes in relaxation whims.

Spa

The Spa at the Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas certainly earns each of its five stars. The generously sized Spa footprint (two floors) is designed with an eye toward guest comfort and a soothing retreat; exuding luxury, lustrous appointments, and an array of wellness elements – all incorporated into a stunning environmental architecture, punctuated with generous views of the surrounding Law Vegas skyline. Simply magnificent.

Dining and Cocktails

Dining and cocktailing are elevated to art form at the Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas, embodied most prominently by the property’s signature five star fine-dining experience: Twist By Pierre Gagnaire – “Classic French cuisine served with a modern twist.” The space is jaw-dropping, images courtesy of the hotel:

The Mandarin Bar

While Twist is quite lovely, my favorite space to experience the hotel and enjoy a cocktail is the Mandarin Bar and its three towering walls of floor-to-ceiling glass, just off the lobby’s sitting area on the 23rd floor. If you’re seeking views, vibes, and liquid refreshment, there is no better spot in all of Las Vegas. Image courtesy of the hotel:

Las Vegas reflects much of who we are and how we choose to live our lives – optimistic, adventurous, fun-loving, entrepreneurial, and exciting. Stepping onto The Strip plugs us into the city, pushing an intense energetic current through our veins.

The Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas affords the traveler the opportunity to experience Las Vegas from a uniquely luxurious vantage point, delivering to your senses an enduring encounter with the city’s lights, sights, sounds, and panoramas. So take the elevator to the 23rd floor, lean back in your chair at the Mandarin Bar, order your favorite beverage, and soak in this view. Welcome to the club.

Thanks so very much to everyone at the hotel, to Patricia for all of her help, and for the use of the high resolution images!

Please take note that the Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas welcomed me as a special media guest, but that my opinions are, as always, entirely my own.

Thank you so very much for taking the time to read this article, and happy dining and traveling!
